“You’ve Got Some Nerve – A clinical look at optic nerve anomalie”

Course examines commonly seen optic nerve anomalies that are often misdiagnosed as progressive disease and erroneously referred. Colobomas, megalopapillae, hypoplasia, pits, drusen, as well as anomalies of insertion are covered in this presentation.

“Prescribing Oral Antibacterial & Antiviral Drugs”

This course considers the most useful antimicrobial agents administered orally, including penicillins, cephalosporins, macrolides, tetracyclines, and antiviral agents. Emphasis is placed on appropriate drug selection, patient follow-up, and management of adverse events.

Course evaluates available imaging and new technology for glaucoma and retina management. Focus on the clinical management of various diseases with imaging, including cornea, angle, optic nerve/RNFL, and macula OCT as well as Ultrasound Biomicrosopy and wide field imaging. Topical discussions will include glaucoma progression, image registration, and monitoring response to treatment in retinal disease mgmt.
